Spirit Lake Iowa,been working on my 1978 xs far to long.Need to get off my butt and get it done this spring.

Not diffcult at all,just need some hand tools and a puller for the old rotor.

Got my pm a installed on my 75 engine,thanks again xs650.com and Mike's xs.Now on to the rest of it,later.

Got my rotor puller from Mike's xs today,time to get busy on the pma install.

Received my pma from mikes xs,got my rotor puller ordered to day.Will post again when I get installed on my 75.

I won the pma!Thank you xs650.com and Mike's xs.Hope my bike turns out half as nice as the bikes pictured in this thread.Now I just need some warm weather so I can get my bike done.Thanks again to xs650.com and Mike's xs.

Just rebuilt my 78 xs650 bs38 carbs,is the fuel air mixture screw suppose to have an o-ring and spring?Or just an o-ring,mine had no spring.

I could use this to finish my bike.

Ya I was thinking about keeping the 73 motor,and rebuild it later. Thanks for the info

Thanks for the info,just bought almost two bikes worth of parts.Almost all the parts from a 73 and a 77.Just got the 73 frame,and both engines.But 73 motor is stuck,77 motor was said to have been running last year.
