Morning. Is there an up or down for the speedo cable? On one end you can pull the inner cable out of the outer sleeve. Does that end go to the hub or speedometer? Does it matter? Thanks
Howdy folks. Just got my head and cylinder back from Millennium, and in the bag of loose parts was this item. I can't identify it for the life of me, and I think it might not even be from my XS! If anyone can identify it I'd be much obliged, Thanks
Thank you for your reply, If I understand correctly, the problem must be in the speedometer itself and not the gear being driven off of the front wheel.

I've definitely left the bike stock except for invisible mods like tapered steering bearings, solid billet risers, bronze swingarm bushings and black stainless steel brake lines.
