Many years ago I used to work for a rail company in Ft Wayne and I dispatched the rail depot for Ford in Claycomo, MO. Been there once back in the early 2000’s. Even got a tour of the old salt mine caves they use for warehousing (not Ford) not far from there. That was pretty cool.

I used that same stuff in black to make very minor repairs on a vinyl seat cover. It was a small tear at the seam. Worked pretty well.

Phil is a first rate seller and packager! I almost bought that one too but just stuck with the front. I got my stainless spokes from 650direct in Canada. Great prices!

Out of curiosity, what is the asking price? There is one close to me in similar shape at the asking price of 5k. Been on there for a few months. I can't justify that cost. If it were closer to 3k i might be a player though.

My xs hasn’t seen much love in a while so I picked up an extra set of trees to try and clean up the front of my 77 project. As much as I’d love some billet trees I think I’m going to give a shot at shaving down some stock trees. The bottom tree was easy, it’s steel so I just used a 4” grinder...

Why are they referred to as pentagram wheels. Why can't they just be star wheels? Nobody ever refers to Honda's Comstar wheels as pentagrams :shrug:

Mid-Ohio is a tremendous swap meet. Biggest i've ever been to. Plus it's an ultra-cool event all around with vintage road and trail races. One everyone should attend at least once.
