I have been loving mine as well, the one thing I'll suggest is to add thread locker to the through bolts that sandwich the plastic. Mine vibrated loose but luckily are right there in view so I didn't loose any pieces. I suggest these to anyone having trouble with cold hands.

I went through a similar battle last year, I ended up making 1 bracket for both, yours' is finished up much nicer.

We'll I changed the bars to a very similar set that would accept bar end mirrors and swapped my bar ends back on. Got to test out the hand guards today, 42F with a stiff breeze doing 45-50 and even hit some rain on the way home, hands stayed ok even with just my summer gloves.

Today I introduced my xs to my BMW and reorganized/made room in my garage for the two of them. Yesterday I sorted out my fuel lines and swapped bars and mirrors.

My hands go numb much below 45 no matter what I have for gloves, so anything to try and help.

So I got it back together, in the bike and running yesterday. Went for a quick rip tonight, first impression is good! Seems a lot smoother at the lower end, and a bit more grunt.

I rode mine, after reassembling just enough of it. First run since my cam re-timing, first impression is good.

96 R1100R, with around 30k on it. Asking price is $1200 needs the fuel system gone through. (Pump and injectors included, need to be installed)
