    Just my 2 cents. If u built beefy fender struts, wouldn't most of the weight be on the rear wheel/ swing arm? It would suck to ride passenger tho, be like riding a hardtail. Posted via Mobile

    Do you have the e adavance? Or the mechanical advance? It sounds to me, that your timing could me to far advanced and thats whats keeping the rpms up there. Posted via Mobile

    First rule of thumb when carb tuning, make one change at a time. I'd go up to 27.5 (if you have one) and see what happens. I'll bet your pilot jet is to small. Also I found a mention of removing the air bleed screw. Have you had a look at tee cat's thread? Lots of useful info in there...

    Well the gasket meeting the intake to the head could be leaking. Same for the carb to the intake. Start the bike up and spary carb cleaner around those junctions, if the idle drops theres your problem. I'd also pull the fuel bowl and actually see what jets are in there. No carb straight out of...
