Likely tank issue i heard a sucking sound whenbi opened the tank. It is a new cap from mikes any history of issues with them?

My bike will run for about 8 miles at normal speed then die like it is not getting fuel. Wait a couple minutes will start and run for a few minutes then die again. Any ideas?

thanks, and yes it is the xs pleated oval pods. I will check the diaphragms again. It does tend to keep climbing in RPM. after a bit or sometimes after i gas the throttle it will go back down.

Hello, I have cleaned my carbs often lately due to rusty tank that i have now fixed. The issue that I am having is this: after running for about 10 minutes the engine tends to rev high. I check the throttle to make sure it isn't sticking and that is not the issue. any thoughts?

I have the wiring diagram, it is just confusing for me to read it. I was going to run the led flasher on the power line into the switch and then run the L and R power off the switch to the lights. My main issue is figuring out what wire is the power into the switch. Thanks

Hello all I am trying to hook up led signals to an 81 X's 650 there are a million wires coming off the l side of the bars. Does anyone know what is power in and which you run to the lights? I have deleted the canceling unit.

The cable does need a bit of oiling but I had that apart and it seemed to move without issue. the problem seems that it is hard to push the rod into the clutch.
