Gonna build a Brat...need some help!!

Crash, Do you have the small hand bender, the stand mounted manual bender, or the hydraulic pipe bender?

both, cant really get the table top hand bender to do that good for me,the hydralic one works ok on big bend ,maybe looking into building one

Yeah Yamaha Chop built one using those plans and he's happy with it. And I've seen the work he's done with it so I'm sold on it.

Sorry about the thread :hijack:

not a problem at all !! I need to build one of those pipe benders myself.. I was thinking I might paint the frame silver and the tank ans wheels red...what do you think??

You really like that red! Should look good. I'm more of a black, silver, gray, gunmetal type of guy. If it's going to be colorful, I like darker colors with either metal flake or as candies.

I like parts of my bikes to JUMP OUT at you ... :D I like the darker colors too,but the Bright Red's just get my blood pumping!!! like Red Lip Stick on a beautiful woman ... :wink2: Hell I might even like it on a pig !!! LOL

nice looking bike,is that the indicater on the foot rest?I've seen bar end indicaters but never foot rest end ones

this is the sweetest brat style I've seen...a bro of mine snet it to me. He's got a cb350 bob over at chopcult.com..they have some sweet british and xs chops too.
ALaskan roads are a bitch with a hardtail..but you can't be hardcore without doing the hard stuff...whether its fab or riding.

That bike above is pretty hardcore with about 2 inches of travel in the front and maybe and inch and half in the rear. I bet it rides just marginally better than a hardtailed bike with a sprung seat.

Now that's a nice brat style xs650. I'd build that. Does anyone know if the frame was modified to get it to sit like that (outside of the rear frame rails cut off)? I see that the rear tail section was cut off, the shocks changed, along with lowering the front forks, and a harley softail-ish oil bag type battery, electronics holder.

What kind of shocks are those? What type of oil tank (battery holder is that)?

here is one I started but scrapped, looked good from all angles eccept from back  too much space between tire and shocks. So I cut it up and is now a hardtail.
