I just read a post from Sparks where he calls his XS "Cold War" and it gave me an idea for a new thread; What is the name of your XS? I haven't named my bike yet but I'm sure I will get some good ideas. Fire away!

I name mine by their engine size, 710, 760, 840, 650, or if that fails it's by colour.

The name for my XS is "AWFUL AWFUL" , I stole it from Hot Rod Magazine's "Stroker McGurk" 50 years ago---tim

"Greedy Bastard"

or, better yet...

"My Precious" as named by Gollum in "Lord of the Rings"
We wants it, we needs it. Must have the precious. They stole it from us. Sneaky little hobbitses. Wicked, tricksy, false!

I have two (in various stages of building)

My rat bike is named "trash"

my new project is named "mouth of the night", or just 'mouth"

I call my hardtail "CHOPSTICKS" being a jap bike and a chopper I thought it fit. My softail is named "SPONGE BOB" my 4 year old named it and having been bobbed out i thought it fit.

Everybody points at it and says "Whutyearsat?" So that would be a good name. But she's female, so maybe Whutyearsatene. I should start telling them it's not nice to ask a lady's age.

I call mine Rusty. Because of this.

When I first got it, my wife would call it a "rusty old piece of crap", and i would start qouoting Joe Dirte.

My XSs are named, Nothin' Special, Grubby Bitch and Spoiled Brat. And they're all females. Nothin' Special has a crush on an old ironhead Sporster it's owner calls, Rat Bastard.

the 72 is Yama-Dog
the stock 78 SE is Spotty-Dog since it had a red rh side cover at first and bikes black
the duo-glide rear section 78 SE is Baby-Dog, the last custom I built in 05

they're all dogs because their bark is louder than their bite, according to my friends.

I call mine The Troublemaker because the first time out of town with it I let myself get in a short race with a beautiful 750 Bonneville. (pretty even up to 95) The second trip out of town included a conversation with a cop.
