haha.. it does doesn't it. but no. its a solid build. I'm in no position to be criticizing your work even though it is entirely constructive and not personal. Simply put, some like apples and some like oranges... that's all. Nevertheless, I most certainly value your presence in the motorcycle community.

Ok, sorry its been so long between posts but my deadline one the bike is tight, so i'm be living in the garrage... so this again is how she ended up before paint.

While she was out to paint I worked on the motor. If you look back at some of the Orig motor pics earlier in this post, I think you would agree it cleaned up real nice. :)

what's up with the "autozone" exhaust and the long seat spring mounts? not my flavor I guess.

MalloyM: Ok First let me say theI build bike for other people and this bike is already sold to a guy who is 6'3". I needed to pull the seat back at hare as I could so that involves welding another cross menber in the hardtail. He like and wanted to keep that style seat, so instead os using like 8 inch springs, I met the spring a little more than half way with a with tubing and welded in some crosses to bold the sprins too.. Over all it work well from the side view, I agree with you that the seat is kinda high in the ass but its the solution I came up with. i have pics it you want me to post of the crosses im talking about.

As for the exhaust.... if you look at some of my posted and my past bikes Ive donr all types of styles.... Long, meds, hell even long and up over the fender... but never a real short "just dump it out" super loud set. Your right they are not the creativist set I have ever made but the customer loves then and they mates the "hot rod' style im looking for in the over all design.

I appreciate all comments good and bad... hell there are no bad comments when it comes to personal opinion. I'm just taking note on everyone likes and dislikes for future builds :)

I think it has a good look to it even though I am not really diggin the exhaust either. As for the seat, I am building a TCbros hardtail XS right now and I am using a spring seat, like most everyone it seems. What I am doing is fabbing a bracket coming off the center part of the backbone below the TCbros backbone mounts. Mount the front seat hinge point there so I can move my seat farther back. I can keep the rear of the seat more level, move it closer to the rear fender to close that gap a bit and not have to use ridiculously long seat springs. I like the clothespin style torsion springs better than coil springs and to me when they get over 4in, they started looking goofy.

Ya see not thats a smart way of solving that prob... Where the "F" were you like three weeks ago:) LOL. the next build im gonna try that, Thanks for the Idea. In each build I learn something new, something more efficent and creative.... One day I'll build the perfect bike and please everyone..... LOL, Nope thats not going to happen :)

No problem. I think we are just used to seeing the hinge mount on the backbone itself so naturally we are more inclined to mount it there. My sportster chopper I built has an awkward, to me anyway, seat position and I think it is because of the location of that front mount. I have it as far back as possible but there is still a ton of space between the seat and the rear fender and the seat sits really high. It's worse since I added a 1 inch spacer to level the seat up. Before I raised the rear of the seat up, I was struggling to stay on the seat. I "may" correct it on that bike too after I get the XS sorted. I was actually gonna buy a chopper pillion pad and put it on the fender to disguise it a little but I think simply changing the mount up will work better in the long run
