79 xs650 very clean, garage kept. Recent rebuild of motor and trans. Good tires.
Modifications:
Pamco electronic ignition
small gauges
shortened stock blinkers
drag bars
bar ends
gaiters
LED tail light
blade fuses
has 2-1 pipe on it now but comes with stock duals
dirtbike foam air filters
A few issues:
starter gears are worn so they grind. I just kick start it. Starts on 2nd-3rd kick
chain has a rough spot
swing arm bushing worn
cam seals seep a small amount of oil
needs to be jetted for the pipe
Located in New Mexico. Overall very nice. It has a few problems but it is an old bike. I am looking into a larger bike and hate to see this one go but I cannot justify two road bikes.
