I've had mine for awhile, my engine isn't ready to run yet. Does it get hot on the legs?

Did you have any trouble getting the right cylinder pipe in?

I seems like mine is just a hair of a dog too big to fit in. No problem with the left though.

Mine weren't at all hard to fit on the bike .. and i've not had any trouble with them getting hot on my leg either. definitely the best exhaust i've ever paid money for

For the right side I had to remove the gas tank. After that it was easy. As far as getting hot...it does closer to the motor but the area where your legs are while sitting on the bike isn't that hot. I can keep my hand on the pipes no problem. Wrapping them would make them totally cool to the touch. I plan to paint and wrap them at some point. I just wanted to get them on the bike. And yeah...I agree Bobbed...for the money, these things will be hard to beat. They sound fantastic too.

No I get you have to remove the gas tank and all.. I can get it around the frame and everything just when it gets to the exhaust into the motor I'm having a fitment issue were it does not want to go inside.

Plus I will have to agree the price for this exhaust is awesome can't wait to test it out!

I love my pandemonium exhaust! Mine get pretty warm but I always wear jeans when I ride so hope not to burn my leg. I wrapped mine here's a pic

Haha...speaking of getting warm...took my bike out on a shake down run and ended up burning a hole in my jeans and melted the side of my boot. Guess I need to get some wrap sooner then later.

I love this exhaust but I'm a little larger than most and I think my leg would be hitting it more than optimal.

No baffle here either. You can get these pipes from the link below. The pipes are at the bottom left corner. He builds per order but you should have them ina week to 10 days. Great customer service, great pipes, great price.

Nubster, I thought I read in your earlier post you said the pipes dont get that hot! And that you can wrap your hand around em?? And here your saying you took it out on a run and burned a hole in your jeans! Guess Im a little confused at this point?

Well...Back towards the rear they don't...the area that my leg normally would touch when at a stop or whatever. The part of the pipe that burned my pants is about 8" out of the left cylinder where it wraps around the frame. I would expect them to be pretty hot right there...I just didn't realize my leg would be hitting that area of the pipe while riding. Certainly nothing that some wrap won't take care of...in fact I am getting ready to order it now.

Here's a running video is anyone wants to hear what they sound like. Click on the pic and it will play on the photobucket site. Not sure how to get it to play here instead of opening a new link

I'm running bs34 carbs with a 145 main jet, 45 pilot jet, canadian adjustable needles with the clip at the top and pilot screws 2 1/2 turn out (I think). It runs rich wide open so I need to step down a size on the main jet but since the weather has cooled down a bit it runs ok.
