College budget. That's all I need to say right? Everyone knows how that goes.

Plus they would be a nice closing to my winter build!

Thanks for the giveaway Pandemonium :D

Come on guys! Let's see some creativity! Things like pictures, a video, a funny story or drawing, a song, a poem, a joke, a riddle, etc. Anything creative that shows how much you want to win! Remember, the winner will be hand picked by Pandemonium so your post has to stand out!

Hint: if you've already posted, you can edit your post up until the deadline.

Here in Sweden we have the best lager beer, the most beutiful girls in the world. For that reason we.....or I should get the greatest lookin exhaust system. By that, the circle is closed!!

To join this competition i had to answer. My bike is washed all up (picture) and ready for some work in my cellar, but the snow came and it still sits in the garage. First day without snow i'll take it inside.

My XS is kept as stock as possible so the exhaust is not my goal, but some nice parts are needed this winter, preparing for a better summer.

:D
As you might see, the carbs needed cleaning.....

I'm lost without exhaust and no funds for the cost.
I'm down 'cause no sound travels across ground.
The fear in the deer just isn't so clear.
The ire of the shire is not enough dire.
So gift me these pipes alone amongst the gripes and hypes.
Gift me these parts to give starts to their hearts.

Cause I'm a 47 year old idiot who can't weld & I read zero in the creativity meter. Hell, I can't even post pic's of my '81 rat bike.

i would like to win , because then i can finish and post some pics of my lean mean xs chop psw and me, here in ohio built. and after all xs650 people need to keep this bike and its cool history going and we can do this by promoting the bikes on this website . its not just a cool looking engine but has history like how and why Hoyt designed it and why it was produced so long and Kenny Roberts kicked but racing it................

I'm a poor graduate student elbow deep into my very first build. I started riding last summer. Before that I'd never been on a bike before. Long story short I fell in love. This bike, the people, and the culture have taught me more than any academic institution has in the almost 20 years I've been in school.

I should win this exhaust because i'm running a shitty stock exhaust without mufflers and this exhaust would look great on my build.

I should get it because I am rebuilding a 77 xs650 basket case with more rust then anything else. Just had my first son he is now 4 months old so makes money tight. i also leave my house at 3am and would love to wake up everyone in the town

Why i should win.... well its about time i won something, first project bike build, long time rider just never built one till now and your pipes would go good with my vision of this bike...

ok someone wanted a story, well there I was lost out on the highway of life, been married 3 times and with 2 ex wives child support out the wazoo and you want to know why I want to win. come on please can I win. I promise to be nice and only ride by the ex's houses between the hours of two and three am only once on week nights maybe twice on weekends, wouldn't want them to get too much rest. Please!!!

I would appreciate this gift because:

I am new to the XS650, but have inherited a 1977 XS650 bobber project from a friend who has just recently passed away from esophageal cancer. I am very excited to carry this project on, but it would be amazing to be able to put something new like this on his bike. he put all of his heart and soul in this build, and I hope to make him proud when it is done. Here is a picture of the bike wearing stock chrome pipes that have been hacked off at the original peg mount location.

Thanks.

I would like to withdraw my name from the list. There are many others that need the pipes more than me. Thanks for the generous oppritunity. Tony C.

i am 23, busted my ass working an 8to6 job while going to college from 7-12 every day for 2 years while paying myself through tech school. recently ive purchased my first home leaving me with very little to no spare money for my new project 70xs bobber build. ive worked my butt off like many others but i feel i deserve a bit of a brake by winning something for once.

I should win so you can say you have your pipes all the way up in North Pole Alaska! And they will look really bitchen on my WWII themed bobber.

I deserve them because back in '97 my Harley-bourne riding buddy's would send me to the "back of the pack" because my 1.5 inch straight pipes were so loud. I had just gotten my '81 650 Heritage Special, and not knowing where or whether replacement pipes were available,I drove baffles into the pipes I have - thus emascuating my ride. Besides aren't these made in Defiance OH?
