Shes a 1977 Yamaha xs650 w/ kick start only 750 big bore, performance cam valve springs clutch, high ratio primary gear set, Del Lorto phf36 carbs, pod filters, battery relocation, wiring harness simplified, rear lights relocated, Woodcraft clip-ons, Fast from the Past rearsets, xs750 tank, Progressive Suspension 14 series shocks, headlight and gauge cluster lowered, flat black and shaved frame, and cafe seat.

Still planning on doing a perm. mag. alt. and a cigarette box type bat mod to her.

PS
there where enough British guys with British bikes with British flags on them so i figured as a Japanese kid with a Japanese bike id put a Japanese flag on mine.

dude have you got a hidden battery ,since you hvent done thr perm mag yet, where did you hide it and how simple can you get the wiring cheers, bill

lol you really dont want to see my wiring diagram... Im only runing two fuses (holds on for the flaming) I know i know I should know better.

As for the battery, I made a fiberglass tray under the seat that allows a place for the a SLA battery from mikes to sit under the hump... I forget which battery it is but i have the item number somewhere, but its one of the smaller ones.

Hell, Ive been running with a single fuse in mine for as long as I can remember..The way I see it theres only one to blow & one to replace..:wink2: I reckon Ive only blown a fuse once or twice in five years or so and thats only when Im fekin' about with wires in the headlight while the ignitions on

alright, i guess ill pitch in my 2 cents, heres my 81, this is what she looked like the day i brought her home, notice my nosey dog wanting to see what ive got

I like the chop, that derby cover, did you drill the cover to install and add a gasket? Looks like a harley style derby cover. What handlebars do you have?
