What would be a fair price for powder coating a hard tailed frame and spoke rims? Just a basic color ( Black, silver .. etc) I realize I am in New Jersey where everything is expensive ... Thanks !

I recently had a backyard powdercoater do a Harley softail frame for $200. A powdercoating business quoted me $250. That is in Mississippi though.

I'd guess around $400 or so. I was quoted $250 just to do the frame, I went with paint instead. Easy to maintain and if I change or scratch it, it's an easy touch up.

I had a frame p-coated red with clear coat two years ago by a pro for $275. It's very shiny and I should get to work on it.

Thanks ! I only got one quote so far..to do the frame and both rims ... 650.00 - but if I paid cash ... 550.00 ... wink wink ... only in NJ !

theres a guy in garfield nj that does powder coating.. dont know his prices though,, i paid $80 a wheel but my bike shop sent them to a place i m not sure of. i ll try to find out for you i got the powder coaters number if you need PM me.

My buddy charges 150 for a frame. Ill have to ask on the wheels.
