I did a Hughs PMA and now I need an Ignition. Does anyone know if I can by a Pamco ignition that is not from Mikesxs. They don't have one in stock and they do not know when they will. They always have the parts you need out of stock. I want a new ignition not used.

I also need a "full length" clutch push rod if anyone has one.

Can Someone explain to me the differences in the Pamco ignitions. i believe that they offer 6 different models, i I am wrong please correct me.
Thanks

Pamco only has two ignitions, one for stock engines and one for re-phased engines. If you are looking at mikesxs there are different kits available depending on what else you need. This varies depending on year and what level of performance/money you are looking to drop.

Pete doesn't offer all of the components you will need to convert your bike over to the Pamco. You will need most of the items from the points system to allow the pamco to work. Stuck in the same boat I was last year, afraid you may have to wait. I would suggest this kit.

You can buy everything in the kit separate, if they have it, minus the pamco and get the pamco direct. It will cost more, but may speed up the process. You CAN use your stock coil thought it will not give the same output of the performance coils.

Thanks for the help, that is the ignition I was originally looking at getting. If i am going to replace my ignition then i'll replace the coils as well.

You might find the advancer parts on ebay. Just match the ebay sellers, some stuff they sell they get your money then order from Mike's then ship it to you when they get it.
Ask if they have one in stock before ordering. Use PayPal so if you have a problem you will get better results than if you use your credit card.
