Ok guys I got this bike in trade and am trying to make it mine while learning about the bike at the same time. I have a friend Dan from Salty Dog Cycles working on it cleaning up the wires right now http://saltydogcycles.blogspot.com/ My question for you is that I have no idea what shocks are on the back of this bike right now and want them gone. But what I want to do is lower the bike about 2 inches. Any ideas on good shocks to put on here?

That frame is super weird! I don't think I have ever seen one cut like that. It's kind of exciting to see an xs that actually has something a little different going on. I'm not sure that I like it, but I really like that it's different. Post more pictures! To my eye, those shocks already look quite a bit shorter than stock.

Yea I heard from Dan (salty dog) that I woudl get shit about the drop seat. But The bike was built over 6 years ago and there arent any cracks from what we can see. It seems that the guy who built it did allot of extra work to it. The front has been rakes and the rear streched also. Like I said its a learning bike for me. So I plan on having fun with it. And if I break it, Ill put everything on a hard tail.
