Where are some of the crazy places you have built your bikes? anyone build one in the kitchen? The ol lady might not like it........:wtf:

Of course this is/was a bachelor pad, no ladies to complain and my other roommate has two bikes.

I am building my 81 in car port, you know the kind pipe with metal sheathing, carpet on the soil to keep grass from growing, privacy fence on side to keep out some of the rain. Wish I had some level concrete. Just making the best out of what I got
 
Anywhere that gets it done I think is the proper answer. Daughter and I built the bike in a really dirty, no floor shack.

Buddys garden shed is where mine is being built. But this small shed has 220v and 110v a beer fridge and a couple welders. But it's only about 8x12'
 
Dining room table. I rebuilt my first engine on it, and my wife didn't even complain, except about the stink of carb cleaner. She still hasn't noticed the dents my anvil made in the wood, God bless tablecloths.
 
Combo breaker! Bedroom and underground parking garage.

my 78 motor just got finished in the basement. My first 78 i bobbed was in the upper floor of a condo....interesting trying to get it down the stairs.
 
I have done 2nd floor bedroom when my kids were young and finished up a complete Drag Bike there so they couldn't get to it. Neighbors loved me starting up bike in house sounded cool. Rode it down the steps right out the door and onto the open trailer. I got a better one for you Painted a complete car in one of the self car washes at night. This car wash had compressed air for wash and two doors that could be lowered and went in at night hooked up my spray gun and painted a 67 Chevelle in about 3 hours and 6 hours to dry before the manager came back in the morning. Did 3 cars that way. WOW the good old days.
 
I rebuilt an engine this last winter in my basement laundry room. Had about a 4 X 4 foot area to work in, engine on a 2 X 3 foot shop cart. Tight space, but heck it was HEATED.
 
I've done plenty of part washing and wet sanding in the kitchen sink and have worked in plenty of tight spaces.
Well, my wife and I our house shopping. Today we are putting in an offer on a house that comes with an additional (to the two car garage) heated 3+ car garage with an office. I'm so excited! I'm building my dream workshop in my head right now!

Well, they accepted our counter offer. It's ours, given everything else goes OK, inspection, financing and such. We are giving them 30 days after closing, so It will probably be the end of the summer before we can move in. It's over ~2500 sq ft Log Home on 10 acres. My Dream home really. 3+ car garage to the right on the first picture. No interior pictures till I get to go through the house again. When we saw the house I was too busy picking my jaw off the floor.
