Exhaust Not Equal (Dead Cylinder)

I read through this thread. I basically have the same exact problem as this guy.

The bike runs great, no problems doing 65mph, feels like its got decent power, starts on the 3rd kick.

But the exhaust tone differs. Left side is that nice solid "THUMP THUMP THUMP" the right side is a weak "PFT PFT PFT".

Threw my timing light the right plug wire and its firing as normal (at least on the wire).

Now I've encountered this before, but pretty much just ignored it because I could ride the bike, but yesterday it started backfiring, usually at lower rpms, and usually once a minute...so somewhat random.

Backfiring, weak exhaust tone of dead cylinder, coil appears ok.
 
A few things come to mind.....backfiring could be a lean condition/exhaust leak/pilot circuit on the right carb. Are the carbs synched, what compression do you have on the right cylinder and, and, and......is the exhaust free flowing?
