Wondering if any of you Colorado guys help out a fellow XS650 member?

If you haven't heard already...
Richard Ford of "G&L Choppers" operates out of Colorado Springs.

He's had my bike (among others) and my $4,000 for well over (2) years now and refuses to answer any calls or emails.

I've been pretty patient so far but I need to know what's going on.

If anybody's in the area and can just ride by the shop, or if anyone has any info at all on G&L, I'd definitely appreciate it.

Really, I'd just like to know if the shop is even still around!?

Please shoot me a message on here or email me.

Thanks.

man i triedcalling them 4 times and emailed them 3 for a hardtail and never heard from them at all. i live in breckenridge and wanted to keep some money in the state for my hardtail. i even blew them up in one of my email givin them kudos on the killer look of their hardtails and nothing...finally gave up and went with another company. that was in like feb. i've got a friend down there i could ask her to stop by and get some info for you.

sorry bro- i hate seeing people getting jerked around. i own an auto body business and starting a chopper company and just don't see how people can do that crap...especially to other people that are into the same cool shit.

I'll be heading to Lincoln's around noon-ish.

I'm working down at Fort Carson at the moment so I might be able to swing by G&L some afternoon. I've wondered where they were, so thanks for posting up the address.

Don,
If you hear anything about G&L please let me know. We are just one month away from the 3 year mark.

Well thanks man, I definitely appreciate it. I gave them my bike and the cash to do it because I thought that they did killer work. Just be thankful you never got a hold of them, you might still be waiting...

Ashaman:
Please do. Any info at all would be great. Like I said, I'd really just like to know if the shop is even still around.

BMDeckie:
I'm sorry to hear that man. And I thought (2) years was ridiculous! Things are not looking good. I'll definitely keep you posted.

Thanks again for everything guys.
Anything you could do would be a huge help.

Thanks,
Don M.

brought this up this weekend with a guy i met and he said the shop is down to just one person from what he had heard...still no excuse. all the best

Well, thanks for bringing it up to him....
I'm hoping SOMEBODY knows something.

I heard he actually hired a couple of guys but who knows.
How many does it take to return a phone call?

Thanks again.
I definitely appreciate it.

I'm living in Kentucky right now, but I am moving back to CO this winter, although it may only be temporary. The first stop is Buena Vista, where I grew up, just a quick ride down the road from Leadville. I will be leaving BV the next fall, either somewhere else in CO or Alaska, not sure yet..

My bike is almost complete! So I'll be down for a ride in the next few weeks.

~Kushlife = Did you buy your bike from my brother Kevin back in January? I think it was you, you came down to my house in Aurora, with your wife/gf. It was an 83 heritage.
