Love the build! I look forward to seeing it in finished form.

Dirty,
Me too mucker,,,,I am really struggling with the colour scheme for the tank and Omars seat unit.

Got the family vacation coming up in the Highlands spend some time chilling out with my iPod on listening to some Zep, Sabbath,Bad Co Joy Division to help me get inspiration on the colour scheme :D

Lads,
Anyone got any ideas on the paint job, got to be a couple of shades of blue and got to have the classic Yamaha look

That terrier looks like trouble (in a good way)! I love Borders, and had one that absolutely owned our chipmunk squatters. :guns: It is funny, we have a Rottweiler now, who outweighs our terrier by about 70lbs, but is who is a piece of cake to handle compared to our ratter.

Did I miss the part where your gas cap was replaced with that excellent new filler cap? It looks very trick. Can you share how it was done and which filler cap you bought?

Thanks!

chi,
No chipmunks round here mate !!!! but you wont find any vermin either :)

I bought an XS750 tank and a FZ6 tank as below.

then a friend cut the filler mounting section out of the FZ tank and the XS tank and welded the aircraft filler type onto the XS tank.

The cap is just an after market cap that my mate has polished up.but I may yet get it anodised gold, I will wait till my tank is painted.

Great picture of the pups! This, btw, was the first (and probably the only) time my wife looked at the XS650 website. She is now looking to adopt yet another dog..lol!

Damn, Leslie, that's some purty shit right there! Dogs are cool too. Just got back from running mine. They still have energy left, I'm burnt!!
