Those wheels look super. Keep up the good work. The blue paint job would look good. I think the classic racing green would look better with the gold on the wheels. Some gold on the tank would go good with the green. It is going to be a show class bike no matter what color you decide on.:cheers:

Didn't realise you were goin' with the Distanzias. Besides lookin' cool they work real well on the street. I've got them on my Husqvarna 610SM and love them! Good choice!

Pregrid,
A friend had them fitted on his Tiger, had a quick go up and down the road and i thought they were good.

He swears by them on his Triumph Tiger.

I will try and get a picture of his Tiger a very underrated bike, don't know if you get them in the United states

very good job Leslie !

Do the calipers touch the spokes ?
On my setup (std wheel + FAZER 600 '00 fork and calipers), it does so I'll need to machine them a bit.

I have kept the centre line of the R6 forks so they are wider than the standard XS650 app 15mm and had a set of yokes machined to suit.

Then I have manufactured a couple of spacers to go behind the discs to bring them in line with the R6 calipers.

I am using a standard XS650 wire wheel and with the new set up there is not a problem with the clearance.

I can send you a AutoCAD file of the spacers if the Fazer yokes and forks are the same centre line as a R6.

EBC, standard discs, I didnt want the modern spider web ones, althought these are floating but still look retro if you know what I mean. All I did was paint the centres gold

I want to keep it as old looking as poss but modern at the same time hence the 2000 R6 forks which to a novice would look like standard, and i kept my new billet yokes to a 80s racing design.

A new old 8" head light next then a Trail tech speedo christ thye list just goes on and on
