Not a 650, but soon to have 650 forks! That brake would sure finish it off nicely.

Pic is of me on my machine. Its a 79' with mikes xs pod fiters, re jetted to 140 main, and 35 pilot (if i can remember right) .. took some advice on the forum with tuning the 38mm carbs and swapped the stock needle for the xs400 main jet needle and shimmed it to 2.5 slot(shimmed). Did the full tune up ( timing chain adj, points adj, valve adj, The bike has some serious fun factor off the line.. I got rid of the buckhorn bars and am using the superbike bars. I plan on going to a cafe style, i have the popular cafestyle xs750 standard tank ready to go with new mounting stubs welded on. tank is in raw finish with clearcoat and a red racing stripe. i got another fender as well and that is still getting some work. I also have a second changuard that i'll be giving a speed hole treatment to. Things i want and still neeed to get: rear sets, 18 inch rear wheel, Avon tires, new chain and sprokets, 750 kit, oil filter upgrade, fork emulators, flat style fork brace, and brembo brakes, i do have Veshrah pads up front (big difference in stopping power) with a stainless line, but I still want better results. These Brembo calipers would be awesome with lighter modern rotors.

I am starting to work on my '81 XS. Extending the rear by 3", putting on a Visual Impact BRAT kit, some VooDoo Vintage 4" bars, and will be ordering a seat from POV on the site here. Doing all the welding myself, will be begging for help with Elec...lol. Hope to have it done by spring before I get deployed again.

Bought this thing hacked up from the previous owner so I started tearing into. I'm actually trying to get a brake setup figured out, and what better way to get a brake setup then one from Pandemonium!!

Here's my XS, an '83 Heritage Special; she's not much to look at currently, but she gets me where I'm going (usually with me ginning madly inside my helmet). I bought her as a non-runner a year ago. Since then I have installed, a PAMCO and HHB PMA, UNI pods, Stebel air horn, manual petcock, tires, headlight lens and bulb, etc. One of the few things I have not upgraded are the brakes, so I could definitely use some more stopping power.

I gave her what she needed to get running reliably, because she's my daily rider. I had quite a bit of help from several members here on the forum, for which I am very grateful. She rides strong with plenty of get up and go! I've even started collecting parts for when I really get to customizing and getting things painted or powder coated. Hell, planning my bike build is probably the one thing keeping me slightly sane at this point. Thanks for lookin'!

Here is my 72 xs650 bobber. It started as a stock xs2. It was a barn find, I drove 2 and a half hours to Melissa TX (way back in the stix)to pick her up. Complete minus gas tank and exhaust. Got her for $350 with bill of sale and only 13000 miles on the odometer I think the drive was way worth it. This is how she sits now, I hope to be on the road before the end of January. This brake setup would be perfect on my bike. Sorry for the long explanation. Lol her she is!
