Here's my entry. Bought this as a roller and box of parts. Rebuilt the engine, installed the VI Bratkit, then welcomed my son into the world (he's now 14 months old). Been spending all my money on diapers instead of my bike. New breaks would sure be nice.

We have his and hers XS650s in the garage and came across this poor waif that had sat around unloved for over 20 years, so I wanted to offer it a loving home. Currently deciding on a standard rebuild, a cafe racer or a spares donor.

I bought this bike from the original owner in 1981. Sold it in 87, moved 3000 miles, moved again, then another 3000 miles in 96. Got the bike back in 99 not running and then did a cafe' job on her. Pulled her off the lift today and took her for a 10 mile blast.

This is our XS650SG "Tokyo Rose". We bought her new in 1980 off the floor of Bobby J's Yamaha in Albuquerque, NM. Rosie took me to work at the radio station(94 Rock) (Also how the name came) then other jobs, nights out and vacations, til the brake system blew out this year. From New Mexico, we rode to Lil Rock, Indy, Nashville for Celebration, and Yellowstone in addition to the mountains around here. My daughter, now 32 wants it when I'm done. Not yet hon. Restoration will begin in a few weeks, the plan is to keep her in shape for carving the switchbacks of the mountains of central NM to Colo. Im self employed so spare money is keepin the pace slow. Thats why I thought I'd enter. More pics to come. Still looks great (Except for the front caliper).

This is my 77. Love it to death and has been a blast to drive and work on for the past 4 years, but PO had wired up TCI the reg/rec died Friday before Canada day weekend. Got XS charge system, but had to wait until advanced rod parts were back in stock at supplier in Canada which was 3 months backordered. Finally got it back on the road first week of October then master cylinder pour its guts out on my right fork and disc. Had enough of repair bills and thought it was a sign from XS gods to park it, so I did. Just waiting for Xmas money now to purchase parts. Thanks to all posts here to help me make easy repairs and save a bunch on repair bills. Plus it's fun as hell!!! Not too often in this day in age that you can ride a cool bike and use all of its power almost all the time!!!! Thanks again guys and happy new year!!!

I am just starting my build but when the bike was running I only had front brakes. The rear brake linkage broke because of a large pot hole. Front breaks work OK but having a working rear brakes like the one Pandemonium is giving away would really help to stop this bike in the future.

Here is a pic of my 77 tracker. Since this pic was taken I have added Omars rear 19 wheel kit and Goodyear DT tires, along with rear disc brake. Better front brake would be awesome!

Thanks to Pandemonium Choppers for your calendars and help to the forum!
Bill
