Need some ideas on paint scheme. I was thinking matte black fairing/tank with white pin striping to match the white walls.

Yeah that sounds good.Anything on the dark side would look good on your bike.White strip would tie in the whitewalls.

Thanks John! I've been a little wishy washy on the look of the bike but I think I have a good plan now. It's that time of year to get stuff done! Want it to be pretty come spring!

Lol Nerve racking. You got that perfect stance, bars, wheel combo but a effed up paint job just makes it or breaks it!

Thanks! Fairing is from a V-rod. Headlight is a bates style 5-3/4. Fairing fits flush on this light.

I always look at my buell cyclone in the garage and think how good the mini fairing would look on my xs but that vrod one really looks great, can't wait to see the finished product

I think this bike is just too good for a simple matte black paint job, even if it had a bit of striping..

Thanks Man! I asked my tattoo artist and mentioned he could do some pin-striping. I might have him draft up a design so we'll see. I've also been in touch with this guy and he expressed interest in coming up with a design http://www.headcasekustomart.com/ . He does some pretty sick work!
I'm about ready to tear down bike to get the frame powder coated. I can't wait!
