I'm nearing the end of my build and I have a few head scratchers.

I bought a Cole Foster tank off of a member (either here or CC) and it came with a ball bearing petcock and two nipples installed on the front bottom of the tank. What do these nipples connect to, and do I just run a single fuel line from the petcock to the carbs and then T them??? I have VM34's btw.

I can upload pics if needed...

Here's a pic of the bike so far for your viewing pleasures:thumbsup:

Well, it's hard to see in that pic, but if the petcocks are in fact under the front of the tank, then you may have problems when going up a long hill with low fuel in the tank.

Most tanks have the petcocks in the rear of the tank for better fuel flow when accelerating and / or going up hill.

No no no no. I guess I should have worded it better. One single ball bearing Petcock with single outlet located along the left belly of the tank. I'm just confused as to what the two nipples at the front of the tank are for. They screw into bungs that were welded on to the tank on the inside corner of the backbone, I assume by the previous owner. I can just screw in a bolt with Teflon tape to block them off if needed. Hills won't be a problem since I live in LA. We don't have many lol.
