Who Rode Today?

Some folks have crash guards and windshields. I need a cattleguard...

Yesterday was nice so I rode to work at Middletown RI. Lunch time I get to ride around Ocean Drive in Newport and take a quick photo before I have to get back. Later in the day it warms up so I take the long way home thru Narragansett. I think about all those poor bastards inside their cars with the windows rolled up, insulated from wind, sound, smell and vibration.

when I lived in mew Mexico there was free range grazing.
I came around the corner and on the road was about 20 cows.
I was going about 50mph I had to weave through these guys.
so I was slowing and weaving. It was a good thing for me they were so startled all froze in their tracks. I don't really know how but I miss all of them!

OK, so I got my 1st ride in today . Got lots of bugs to iron out , my clutch took a bunch of adjusting before I could ride . Starts great , idles smooth but put it in gear and it stalled . The only way I could get it to move was to adjust the clutch right to the end , it only engages in the last 1/2 inch when you let out the lever . Plus, it slips like crazy going down the road . On top of that , even though it starts and runs great in the garage it is sputtering and popping and backfires when accelerating and decelerating . It only wants to run at 2500-3000 rpm .

I need some help with this thing .

Ocean Drive is probably better at noon for you than it is for me after work... in the fog...

Ron you are very fortunate person to have that beautiful scenery. I have to ride about 140 miles to get to California Coastal Highway one and then head towars Monterey. To mer it does not get any better. Tony C

I rode my Seca II today to bike night downtown.

I do have a great ride in to work except the bridges can be a little nasty if the weather is bad. Hope to ride tomorrow, it's supposed to be 78º. Osteo, is that the before picture?

Took her out for first long ride. Beautiful day 74 and no wind.

First ride this spring after a long winter. My bike isn't happy sitting in my garage; it yearns for the open road. 28C to-day, which is a heat wave for Calgary.

Added a few new things over the winter. New Galfer green brake pads for the Brembo calipers............new tach cable...........and last but not least, new Pamco E-advancer.

Only went 14 kms, but bike is running real fine. E-advancer seems to make for smoother and quicker acceleration.
