Looks more racer to me. It's quite the looker, I give you that! If it goes half as well as it looks it should be "HOLY HELL" fast. Looks like it could really hold the road too!

Beautiful bike with some nice features but not really my idea of an XS. I like the old style of these bikes, that's what draws me to them.
May as well buy a late model sport bike and get the added performance as well.
Just my opinion though and not trying to take anything away from the builder.

Looks like a very modern take on the cafe racer too me, certainly not looking back much. Kudos to the builder, it's impressive work. The only thing is i doubt the performance from that old motor would would keep up with those 'fuck yes im fast' looks. You might feel a bit emasculated when some kid on a bright blue GSXR-600 rips past you in 2nd gear.

Good point - but if you're after "balls-out performance" you'd buy an R1 anyway
Its a great bit of engineering and a top effort..... and it does seem to have addressed the old XS handling issues
