Project BOARDCHOP - Build Thread

Hey lookin at that mockup I think a hubless rear wheel is in order.
And your friend is mighty cute.
The frame is cool.
My buddy Johann likes to stop for fuel often.
No big tanks for him :thumbsup:
Ever thought about any taller bars?

I was just thinking the same thing about this dude and his tanks. Cool tank but lots of stops. Of course I used to be addicted to Monster Absolute Zero energy drinks and stopped like everyday for one so it can't be any worse than that :)

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I appreciate it. Trying to update this thread when I have some thing to show. Bike is a roller. Not the rear wheel or tank I plan to use however.

At first I was not a fan of the front rim, but now I see how it flows with the rest of the tubes in the bike and it is really growing on me! Looking forward to seeing how this turns out!

Man I just luv the little yellow tank.
I think it has a home right where it is IMHO!!!!!
Yea I'm all about humble
She does look like a good riding position.
Looking good Brother :thumbsup::thumbsup:

This bike needs curves. Just saw a bike on my Pinterest were it looked like the tank, seat, and rear fender were all one piece. It was slick man and it had some nice curves.

What tank do you plan on using? Love that HD tank, just not for this frame. In my opinion it disrupts the flow.

Bike is looking great!
I really think a slim under the backbone type tank would look great something along the lines of this.

i dont think the tank would have enough room after and engine install. dig that look too if done right. those bikes have a high back bone or like the older bikes the frame dips under where the bottom of the engine rest to allow room.

I've seen pic's with a tank that goes below, it's gotta be slim and won't hold much but I think it can be done.

yeah maybe a two piece tank. but then whats the point if you cant go the distance...kind of like those guys at occ who ship everything out and bolt on what they pay for. also with a one piece tank you dont have a top motor mount which most would not recommend...i know some will disagree.
