im new to this forum but i picked up a 1975 yam xs650 for doing some work to a buddies truck. it was sitting in a barn for the past couple years. i had it running and shot a mouse house a mile long out of the exhaust. im basing it off the tc brothers holey roller bike. just got a bunch of goodies in the mail already for it

i already got from tc bros

hard tail
pma kit
builders exhaust
head light and tail light
extended cables
fake oil tank
forward controls

i also got a sporty tank and new chrome spokes

thanks. tonight i will hopefully have the hard tail all welded up. tc brothers uses the old exhaust mounts on the lower frame to measure to cut. i was wondering if i could cut the old mount off when the hard tail is put on or do i need it? all of the bikes i see still have it on.

frame is all welded up! got the forward controls in and the piviot pont for the rear brake. shaved the gauge mounts on the upper fork mount. next i need to make the exhaust. i got the universal builder kit from tc bros and want to make scrambler/high pipes. anyone have any pictures of building them?? i have the basic idea but hoping for some further insight on them.

Some updates. Rims are powder coated with new chrome spokes, 10" z bars, shaved fork's. Sending out the rims to get trued and have the new Firestone tyres mounted this weekend.

just dropped off the wheels to get trued and have the new tires mounted. he said by next weekend they should be done. so hopfuly next weekend it will be a roller. i cant wait to see what the wheels look like with the old skool firestone tires on them. the rims alone are looking sexy.

Well it took the guy a month to do the wheels but finally got them back! They are looking good with the Firestone tires. This weekend it will be a roller.

looking good man, getting to the roller stage is always a good feeling. killer job on the top tree too. the shave job looks really good. lets get some photos of the front of the bike.

Some more pics of it. I just ordered a 5" wide ribbed rear fender.
