Oh, please why did they do this?!?!

a real pan head would cost a lot more than it did to build that, i dig it. Look better with a v twin in it though. But a good job recreating the look.

While I generally consider 'bobbing' and 'chopping' pre-1980 xs650's to be a bad idea, that 'Panhead' one looks more ride-able than most of the bobbers I see on this forum. It has a spring seat, nice big fenders, mufflers, windshield, saddlebags, front brake, decent handlebars and riding position, etc. I wouldn't want it, but at least he thought about it and built something unique that you could actually ride.

As for the first link, its amazing that all you need to build a 'brat style' bike is a can of black spray paint and a hack saw...

Since I own a FLH I find this visually offensive. I feel as though someone raped my eyeballs. Looks like a mini-bike. Is that front wheel off a bicycle?

I applaud the ability to be able to turn a wrench in the right direction just to achieve this abortion on wheels but I have to ask, why??

Chalk it up to a learning experience. I've done some stupid shit with machines on wheels in my early beginnings. And now that I'm trying to get better at welding those bikes are basically the visual equivalent to my welds. Lol
