CDI Racing Unit

I have no experience of any items for the XS, but I purchased a regulator/rectifier unit for my Ducati ST2 from them last summer. It has worked fine so far, looks better than the OEM one. Their service was very good and shipping was quick. I believe the package arrived in less than a week, including customs processing in Norway.

For a streetbike with a 360 degree crank, this would be my choice: https://www.powerdynamo.de/shop/ind...&page=1&SESS=db5ap3mfuf6ukh5pu2qie7d6pm95mg60

If they made a CDI that was for XS650s I'm pretty sure we would know about it. But I'm pretty sure they don't.

Electrex World Ltd has had in their catalogue for a few years (unless I'm thinking of the other stator kit STK-465). Often wondered if anyone has tried it but never heard of anyone that did.

Company been around for some time and I know some guys here have used Electrex World reg/recs for their XS's (RR32 & RR35).

At 310 Euros rather than 510 Euros for the Powerdynamo one I know which one I'd rather go for.

Sorry, doesn't really answer your question.

My bad.
Why do both of those companies offer an XS650 CDI with a generator, but not a stand-alone CDI?
Sending them emails now to see what they say about it.

I run one on mine, well made unit, I prefer the way it's made to PVL as the ignition box is separate rather than PVL's which is combined with the coil, had it fitted for around a year now, use it for sprinting, the bike always starts easily on the kick first or second kick,

Electrex World Ltd: Looks like it might run about $338.00 in US $$ Dollars

Hoos Racing PVL ignitions: $450.00 Race only no lighting coil, similar to the old ARD.
