Project BOARDCHOP - Build Thread

We need a WEST COAST JD SHOW
I would jump on a plane to see it and I hat to fly.
He's got more stuff in that garage then most HAHA
I just can't be leave that someone with some cash has not gobbled up this dude.
Going to have to play lottery.
I would just buy the fake tank to hang on the wall.
Keep it alive JD and I found some other shifters too. Good for mock up
I will send them to you as soon as I can get out of my apt SNOW SNOW SNOW ACK!!!!
KEEP CHOPPIN!!!!!

Started on the top end. Starting with a 700cc hoos big bore. Getting my "Grind ON" with the fins on the heads. They were shaped to match the Jugs. Got this idea from Daniel from Pandemonium Choppers. Top motor mounts also chopped to give me that extra clearance for the tank. Also have the CounterBalance 2 into 1 intake mounted. Awesome craftsmanship. I went with the center mounted carb as I got plenty of clearance with my frame.

Man! That's looking great jdizon! What carb are you going with?

I just got all my stuff back from hugh and I'm do'n a j.e. 750cc with it. I've only seen rephase bikes run and rode with a few but that was enough to make me do it.

going to throw my 2 cents in again and think about a different CARB. Single round slide carb has no performance by it self. You got two cylinders and splitting them into one does not equal the volume of one carb. I always wanted to try what you are doing but use a 40mm FLAT SLIDE carb off a Harley. Almost same principal Stock Harley around 60 65 HP one carb two cylinders. You take a stocker put a cam in it up the carb and boy do they run. I would do the crank for sure and cam and take some vibration out of the motor but I just don't think the look of a round carb is going to cut it with the flow of the bike. EYE CATCHING!!!
Later Guy be good

Thanks Rich! Always appreciate your advice. I was actually considering a harley CV Carb along with Amal that the Triumph 650/750 tr6/yr7 ran with single carbs. I will definitely have to look into this further.

Thanks for the feedback. I think I may just go for it.
