Just kind of got this one done. Stock '78 that someone had done a hack street tracker job on. Got rid of the plastic tank & bodywork, finished cleaning up the frame, complete re-wire, LED lights, rattle can paint. Little bit of finishing like mirrors, tank decal or something, mini front fender?

Yo Sparky, I love your seat and rear fender set-up. It's nice to see somebody got it right (no offense, just my opinion). Can you tell me what you used for that is the basic look I am going for also. They are both clean and functional. Thanks, Captain Fun out.

The Seat came from Bratstyle in Japan. (Bit of an adventure having one shipped overseas - you can PM me if you want the details) Rear fender is actually a front fender off a mystery bike from the local Bent Bike shop. (Just under the seat are the 4 mounting holes that originally held it to the donor bike)

got my kicker pedal finally welded on.

What your electronics tank from? Looks good.

Thank you! its actually a fire extinguisher that I chopped up. Lately I have been thinking of trading it out for just a cylindrical tank that I could make. I dont have a chain tensioner so the chain will bounce up and rub on the extuniguisher nozzle which is making the nozzle slowly wear away. Plus im not too satisfied with the look of the latches that I used to keep the extuinguisher together. I think it could be done much cleaner. and its a bit rattier then the look im going for now that im starting to clean things up.
Heres another picture of it

If you put on a chain tensioner, you won't have much room for that tank you have now. A vertical tank will be the way to go. I'm just trying to come up with an idea for my spaghetti.

Of course, Bratstyle, they really have some nice products and some fine looking bikes and I should have known you used a mystery front fender. It has too much style to be a rear fender. Thanks for the info.

my newest addition along side the bike that ill be doing a motor swap on, terry is the name of the bike all rusty and beat, the new bike was a donor i found to do a rebuild and swap on. hopefully some awesome threads to follow

Picked this up 2 weeks ago from a lady DC detective, hence the robin egg blue paintjob. Have been removing surface corrosion, lubricating, and checking things out. Plan on leaving it in this configuration, but will add a few parts (slimline tail and turn signal lights, nicer fork ears, bar end mirrors) and repaint to another (more manly!) color, perhaps black. It's a '77 (supposedly).

Rick

let's see a pic of that cobra. to keep it relevant to the thread make sure your XS is in the background.

Ask, and you shall receive. My '99 R1 is in there as a bonus. Last summer, did an 82 day 16,000 mile "Tour de USA" in the cobra. In several weeks, am taking off for Florida in it (Amelia Island Concours d'elegance, Daytona motorcycle races, Sebring 12 hour...)
