I have a set of 35MM forks which I am looking to lower between 2"-3" and want to build/machine a set of lowering spacers myself. I know there are a number of lowering kits out there for very reasonable prices, but I am a student right now and have very little money.

I have access to a machine shop and want to do the work myself but need some spacer dimensions to get me started. I will be up front, I don't want to cross any lines by asking for these dimensions because I know someone else has spent the time/money to engineer these parts, but it would be a big help to me in order to complete my build.

Dimensions I need:

Inside Diameter
Outside Diameter
Valving and Dampening Port Height/Position
Set Screw Height
Overall Length
Any other relevant information I might be missing?

Thanks

I used a piece of the stock 7/8" handlebars, drilled a hole for the port and another threaded hole for a set screw.
