For Sale - Solid Riser Bushings IL

To those who have purchased, keep those with a light coat of metal protector, mine have minor minor surface rust I'm thinking from the oil on my fingers.

Got mine yesterday the first pair he sent never made it i got a box with a ziplock bag that had machine oil in it the box was insured and sent priority mail I notified the seller and he quickly sent out another pair and they are GREAT! Easy install took me less then 5 minutes to get the old ones out and his in

He has a good product and great to work with shipping is fast and figure8 is a stand up guy for correcting the post office mistake without question.

Mine look good. Had to drill the centers slightly to accept a 1/2" bolt, but took about 2 minutes to do all 4. They are a tight fit, so I am waiting till after I get the trees coated to install them. Look great though!! Aren't they Stainless? I assumed they were, but was surprised yours rusted?

MN TX650, no they are not stainless. I had handled mine alot before installing and I naturally have oily hands. I'm thinking that's what happened. Keep in mind I'm talking minimal surface rust. I cleaned them up easy enough and shouldn't be an issue. Once you've installed, apply a little oil and you should be fine. If you get caught in the rain, try to remember to apply a little more. Hope they work out for you. Also, always like to see pics once installed.

Thanks

I'm just now being able to post my results on my purchase of the bushings since I work long hrs , I was outta town when mine arrived, they came as I was told they would arrive. They were a easy install kept um lubed and they pressed in fairly easy , they look great ,took my hard tail on a 100 mile ride and they were outstanding , deff would recommend buying these to anyone tired of the rubber ones ,I'll again purchase from figure8 when I need another set which will be real soon as my next build it already up on the stand , thanks again

Can anybody else confirm they got there set? Only one set left at the moment. I will make more if there is a demand.

Thanks

I got mine. I am having a helluva time getting them in, but I seem to be the only one by what has been posted. Going to see about sanding them down just a hair so they go in easier. I got started and had to use a rubber hammer, then a bock of wood and a larger hammer and it is still about 1/4" from being all the way down. Since everyone else's has gone in easy, i am going to assume it is something with my bike.

I will add, the work on them is very nice!

I would try sanding down the bushing walls rather than the actual bushing. Use oil of course when pressing.

Hey Figure8, can you tell me the O.D. of the area that slides down into the bore of the triple clamp? I would like a set of these, but I need to make sure that they will work with my 77 XS750 triple clamp.

Thanks!
