2014 Cannonball Run

I'm excited the Cannonball will have two stops in MO!
Already marked vacation days. I WILL be in Cape Girardeau, MO awaiting their arrival.
Hope to set up ahead of them for photo-ops on their way to Sedalia, MO and then follow, at a respectable distance, maybe catching them at fuel stops.
While I don't have any interest it owning and maintaining a machine this old, I will probably never have another chance to view them in "action". So I'm getting ready for the day.

Maybe they are coming close to you and you'd like to see them also?

Looks like a real fun event! I'm impressed by the 70 year old lady, that will be doing it. :thumbsup:

They came through Pa. last year, so we took a ride up to see them. :thumbsup:

Mick I think some of those were in this years run. If I can figure out pic posting this is Mortisha. A rescued wall of death bike. Notice the angle iron bracing on the handle bars and the gusset at the bottom of the grider forks to keep flex under control when on the walls.

Dottie is 70 and riding her own Indian.

The Italian rider Ciro (pronounced chair o) and his single cylinder Motto Guzzi.
He wasn't having very good luck. I stopped to help him the next day. Best I could understand that was his 3rd magneto to go south. He didn't speak much english, I speak
even less Italian. Through sign language and his list of ride people we managed to call the sweep trucks and let them know he needed picked up. Check out the rockers and valve springs!!

And finally a man some may recognize. The riders aren't allowed to start repairs till after 7, but as the photo shows he was already "working" on it.
