What other bikes do you have?

oh jeez... Reading through this makes me realize that maybe my problem is a common one...

I love this thread because it makes my garage look reasonable. Last fall I sold a 750 Virago and two xs400's.

Currently its just my xs650 and the kz750 I'm fixing to sell. Although I did locate a 920 Virago today that needs rescuing...

I have to thin the herd for sure . They all run with the exception of the TX650 # 2 which should be running this month . Bought most of them on the cheap either in boxes or not running . Scrounged most of my parts at swaps . Bought a couple parts bikes as well. I want a 77 XLCR 1000 Harley next I think .i might have found one in boxes ;)

I seem to be the guy that ends up with all the stuff other people can't fix. And I LOVE it. It doesn't help that I have a few acres of space to store it all.

:)image.jpg. When not working on other projects I ride a 2007 MT01 Yamaha. There is the '73 TX, and I have an '87 XL250R Honda dirt bike as well. Always looking though for something.....

Nothing for me (as yet...) but my youngest daughter just bought a 2012 Kawi Ninja 250 for her first bike. She takes the MSF course this coming weekend.

I'm keeping my eye out on the right deal for a two-stroke street bike. Probably a Suzuki GT380 or 550. A Yammy RD would be great too, but every one I see is either total junk or priced way out of my range.

Love, Love, Love the MT01. Wish it was easier to get one here on the States. Probably couldn't afford it anyway. Engine is derived from my bike, the Warrior. Anyway. Picture of my daily rider. 2004 Road Star Warrior.

I read this again and forgot the "or have had" section. So to remedy this omission here goes.
"71 or2 CB350, A fun bike. Plenty of power if you wring it out and decent brakes (drums). '74 M-77 Ural sidecar rig. Slow but steady. Primitively built. Built like a M-72 tank. If you can get it in the sidecar or on the bike, it will haul it. '79 and '84 H-D FX's You think these XS650's vibrate? Ride one of these. Took me 10 minutes after dismounting to stop shaking. Do I want another? Shovelheads Rule! '60 and "82 BMWs. Great highway bikes. Smooth(for a twin), powerful, comfortable. Bring $$$ for parts though. Easy to maintain. Favorite? All of them for different reasons.

There was a time in the '90's when my back yard was the resting place for wayward motorcycles. Unwanted, unloved bikes seemed to migrate to there. CB/CL 77s, KE100/125, DT-1 &175s and others. Most were locked up hulks that were later parted out and sold on ebay or scraped. My girlfriend wanted them gone, so bit by bit it happened.

1994 XV1100F Virago with Mustang seat, 1984 vintage wire spoke wheels, forward controls, V&H pipes, Iron Horse tank bib and saddle bags
