So if you are a EBAY user and do have a open account. They got hacked yesterday and they did get Personal and Password info but that's it. So they are asking you to change :wtf:your password. Could just be a add on hack like use to happen on CRAIGSLIST were people put bogas stuff under your name. So if you don't have a lot on there cut in down or off until clear. Did not get into PAPAL separate account

was it ebay usa only or world wide? on the news they said ebay sent out messages to members to change password,,,nothing rec in oz.

Yeah changed my password real quick. If they can get ebay then hacking has become number 3 on my list of causes for the worlds end:
#1 over population (creating plague and famine)
#2 nuclear war
#3 hacking

Get your bikes done quick fellas!

Thanks for the heads up, I changed mine too, it had been a long time since I had done that...

That's how much you count to them BUT don't pay your fees and look out. They have been really dropping the ball lately . I have had to call them 5 times in the last 4 months on stupid stuff that happen on my account. There are more and more FAKE buyers that years ago they went after them or took the money from there account. NOW BID don't want it don't pay screw with the sellers parts for 11 days and nothing happens and still can't give negative feedback. I use to list 100 parts now I am lucky if I list 25. I do better on threads and can give a better discount.
OWELL everything going to shit these days. I don't know how you young guys are making it with small shops . I cut my overhead in half from $3500 a month to just around $1500 and would give up my garage in a second with all the tools and parts just to relax and go riding. EBAY just don't make the money that it use too.

if they got the encrypted password, woudnt be plausible that they are asking you to reset your password so then they can have it? My BofA account had this problem, and I called the bank. They said they would never ask for a password unless the account holder did the calling. I don't pay bills online, but I do use paypal, so I suppose I should change mine.
