I have seen the sell for anywhere from $2000-$5000 Good luck, we never get out of them what we have in them I got $2300 out of my yellow DIRTY DOG bike last year.
Anyway GREAT LOOKING BIKE.

It could bring what your asking for it if the right buyer comes along. Like Dog said cost to build hard to break even. Great looking bike looks like a keeper until the right buyer comes along. Ride it and enjoy it.

I'll give you a few hundred, it looks like it has some useable parts to build a decent bike.

If a guy don't even know what he built it can't be worth much.
A bobber is a bike with stuff removed to improve performance. Once you do any cutting on the frame it's not a bobber, it's a chopper.

Jeez Leo,
that's harsh. I'd say it was a bit of both. The frame mods lower the seat so a shortarse can ride it and leaves the rear suspension intact.
the tiny gas tank, solo seat, molested rear & missing front fenders certainly make the bike weigh less.
And the missing headlight (unless there's a hi-tech microlight hidden someplace) keeps the bike at home after dark.
So if you are a night-blind height-challenged biker, you'd pay top whack!
Bottom line though, you never see your monetary investment back selling a modified bike, let alone the time you put into it.

I agree with not getting back what you have in a bike, Stock or molested.
I don't see it as harsh. The op asked for opinions and I gave mine.
I just point out the fallacy in what they say. They don't like what I say because I don't agree with them. Most that ask for opinions don't want your opinion they want your approval.
I have been around long enough to know how these different forms of bikes started.
People now days don't care about the history of a style and why it was the way it was.
They throw a bunch of crap together and call it something it's not.
Never will understand that.

Hi Leo,
seems we are discussing the difference between a bobber and a chopper.
Can we say that a bobber is a bike that can be restored to stock by bolting things back on that have been removed and a chopper is a bike that can't be?
And yeah, that Bratstyle frame mod would need a welder to restore so OK, it's a chopper.

I'd say between 3000-3500. Looks like a nice bike. I'd almost say you could get more, but what's really hurting you is the trend going away from these bobber/chopper bikes, and gravitating toward the café or tracker themed bikes. Unfortunately generally the people with the disposable income for these bikes are the ones who care more about trends than the bike itself.

I think 3, 3 1/2 is about right but could go higher if you find the right person. Just a runner with title goes for at least $1000 around here. If you can give a guy/gal the image they want 3+G's is totally reasonable. I do agree it would be easier to find that person with a more fashionable style but plenty of buyers out there on the first day of summer.

Howdy Dirty Dog, I'm out in suburbia (Hilliard). Grew up closer to you in Washington C.H. Came to the big city for school and made a family. We bought a Chevy over at Jack Maxton if that was one of your old stomping grounds. Pretty good amount of Ohio folk on here.

Thanks everyone getting back what I put into it wasnt a concern considering I traded 80/90% of the parts for trade . I was a little curious to find out if there was any interest . To leo thanks but I asked for nothing close to your approval I built a bike that I like and I like to ride so thanks for jumping up to be a dick about it.

See this is what I meant, they don't like my opinion so they call me names. if you don't want peoples opinion don't ask for one.

Hi Leo,
point of order! The OP didn't ask for your opinion, he wanted to know a reasonable asking price if he sold it.
