MikesXS BS38 rebuild kit, main jet doesn't fit?

BS38s on a 79. 13,000 miles.


So if they are shot, whom to get new carbs? 650 Central?

Update, it appears that the one float bowls main threads were chewed up. The other bowl accepted the mikesxs jet just fine. I just rethreaded the messed up one with the new jet. Probably not the best idea but try finding the correct tap . I'll probably swap over to VM carbs when I tear it down this winter. Just want to get the wife on it before the riding is done here (southern NH).
