Yowza Airwolfe! Top quality build there. Love the way you have matched the tank paint to the USD's. I wonder if you swapped the 'blue spots' for 'gold spots' ... Beautiful bike tho' - good work fella!

Thanks Peanut! Not quite there yet, but VERY close!! Still umming and ahhing whether I should not bother till spring TBH! Not going to put a target date on because I know it won't happen! Just doing what when I can!

Got a cam I will mount on the handlebars, trust me I will film the first ride!

Thanks Shakey! The "match"was coincidence if I'm being honest! It was a "let's see if this works" effort! Painted it first with white, and then took some gold and lightly coated it! I was shocked that it actually matched!!

Weirdly enough, the gold dots seem to be more expensive than the blue dots! Feck knows why, they look to be the same calliper! I suppose I could see if I could swap the blue dots for gold, or just paint them. For now, I will leave them as is.

Very cool! Great job!

Thanks Steve!

Not quite as colorful as the landscape -

I guess I've put 11-12,000 miles on it. The riding season is short and sketchy in northern Minnesota - so saying 'daily rider' is a bit misleading. :) It has a little over 32,000 total miles.

Tell me about it. Pretty much north of you....no wonder stock chrging
systems last so long around here.

Here is my 72/74 as it sits today. I will take off the tank, seat and side covers for their final clear coating and clean it up, install tank badges, put on the chain, then reassemble in a couple days...The shocks are from a 800 Marauder. I like that no spring is visible. The mufflers are Sportster.
