I put my rear wheel back on today. The tire is rubbing against the rear brake rod. The chain is adjusted, what else should I do?

Hi shadow,
didja fit a fatter tire?
Check the wheel is centered in the swingarm?
Check the brake rod ain't drifting inwards?

If you havn't got a Manual it is about time you did

Put a spacer on the axle on that side.

Sometimes answers can be just plain wrong. When doing a job that entails some form of safety, then the answers should reflect that.

My stock size rear will rub if the axle is not straight. Measure from the swing arm pivot centers to the axle centers for the best accuracy in getting the axle perpendicular to the bike centerline.
