Hi all!
As posted in a precious thread regarding reusing the stock footpegs/hangers for building mild rearsets, I have some pictures from an XS that I saw on Phillip Island racetrack 4 years ago.

Unfortunately, my worksite (on a ship at the moment) internet connection is too slow for any uploading of pictures, but our email works OK with attached pictures.

So if anyone can help me get these pictures posted on the forum, please send me your email adress in a PM, as I'd rather not post my job email on an open forum.

OK re-use of the stock pegs, but hardly any rearsets. Looking like a hardtail to me.
"weekendrider" will post my pics of that setup I saw in Australia. Thanks!

It looks like the end result is 2-3 inchs shorter than OEM?

Weekendrider, thanks again for helping with posting these pics!
Yes, I agree that this setup is around 3" or 76 mm further back than stock. But this is mostly what is needed when using a low "euro style" handlebar, on a street bike. Obviously not what you would need on a cafe racer with clip-ons, or a racer.
As you all can see, this setup is made from the stock pegs, just cut and welded. I believe the gear lever setup is homemade too. The brake pivot bushing is moved behind the frame tube, so the brake pedal is unmodified, as far as I remember. The finish is not superb, but it seems to be functional, which for me is the most important aspect. And the level of detail finish is up to whoever chooses to try this mod.Anyway the rest of this bike seems "workmanlike" as well, just look at the exhaust.

Mrkil, Thanks for posting your pics, although this post is sort of a reply to a previous post asking for ideas for reusing the stock hangers for mild rearsets.
