Nice leatherwork. That's a really novel/handy grab handle sissy bar. Makes it easy to lift and scoot the bike over. Function AND form. I like...
Well here is my XS as we wait to have her inspected after being restored or rebuilt, however you want to look at it. Took a nice ride through the back roads before the rain hits, we're in for miserable weather for the following days, fortunately I was able to squeeze in a nice ride.

Thanks weekendrider, I've been lurking for several years now reading and at times asking questions. I can truly say that this bike came together thanks to the contributions here on the forum. I will post pics soon, took about 3 and a half years due to availability of time and funds. I enjoyed the process and look forward to the next project

I went for a ride today. I spotted an XS650, so I had to stop and talk about it. That's just the way it is. I found this one very appealing. The owner told me his name is Kenny.

I'm not a fan of the hardtail/bobber genre, but I gotta say that one is VERY well done.
That looks fantastic!
I know, it looks beautiful. It has no front brake, no rear view mirrors, no turn signals, and very little suspension. It's really not something I'd ride. My hat's off to Kenny. He put some miles on it today. Oh, and the attention to detail on this this is amazing. It's very well balanced visually.
