Rear brake light

So I have decided to run with just the rear drum brake on this build of my '82 XS. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get the brake light to work? I assume it was wired to just the front brake handle, which I am no longer using. The only thing I can think of is some kind of switch that is pressed when I brake. Help please

Ummm there should be a brake light switch for the brake pedal as well.....

first one, rear brake switch, thats what you need. When you hit the brake it pulls that little spring and bam! your tail light gets brighter...depending on your wiring, mine is always on and gets brighter when you hit it. although some might have theirs wired so that it only lights up when you hit the brake.

Any reason the part I just bought on mikesxs was 6 dollars and it cost me 8 dollars in shipping for just standard ground?!?!!?
