Can someone help me identify this noise

It's hard to hear because of the exhaust.
if it is the plastic that has come off the cam chain guide the noise will be in loudest in front middle. here is what my sounded like when the plastic came off guide.
if it has come off you will find it in the sump just remove the bottom screen cover and take a look

Carbon, mine sounds like that except not as loud.
Cdntx clearance for valve I think they're set to stock I can't remember off the top of my head. Oil weight again can't remember I think it's a bit more viscous 50 maybe? I haven't ridden it much and I changed the old a while ago. I belive the oil pump works. When I pulled the old plugs they were a bit oily not by much.

I did not hear an increase in the frequency of the noise when you hit the throttle. Might want to check around the rest of the bike for something loose and making that metallic ringing hit. I had one, somewhat different, turned out to be and exhaust bolt loose near the muffler. Sounded like the engine.

The only thing I noticed, I have Hugh's pipes and the middle bolt that connects th pipes at the bottom is missing but the pipes seem to be solid

Out of sheer excitement , first time starting the bike I did not adjust much because I didn't really use it much last year but ill do so next time I look at it. And go from there. I really hope I don't have to take out the guide cause I dont really have too much time this year

so I was able to remove the sump due to replacement and oil change, I decided to check out if the cam chain guide was at the bottom, didn't look like it. The oil had no metal shavings, it was clear, tiny bit of sludge on the bolts to the oil. Anyways here is what it looks from underneath, so far I think I see it where it should be, in place.

is it a possibility of a rocker arm making that noise?

its very difficult to tell what it might be especially as the exhaust is so loud.

If as you say you haven't done too much checking and adjusting yet I would recommend that you adjust the valves and be really meticulous . make sure you adjust the valves on one cylinder at TDC then turn the crank until the other cylinder is at TDC before adjusting that side.
That could be all it needs :wink2:

if you want to pinpoint exactly where the noise is coming from then use a stethoscope or long piece of wooden dowel or beading or even a screwdriver and put one end to your skull just in front of your ear and touch the other around the engine and crankcase until you narrow down where the sound is eminating from

another update:
the noise has bee reduced quite drastically, can't really hear it to be honest.
This is what I think happened: I was running straight pipes (hugh's speedster pipes) with no baffles in them. From time to time they would make a woof noise when the engine was killed, never heard this prior to having the pipes. But now that I decided to throw the baffles on which was to not get pulled over by police. The noise sort of disappeared... I'm not sure if the back pressure has anything to do with it.
