hey there guys im interested in doing a PMA swap on my XS but it seems like Hughs PMA kit hasn't been in stock in quite some time. I like to think of my self as a pretty patient person but i was just curious if anyone has given Dime Citys PMA kit a shot and if it would be a good idea to pair this with PAMCO petes kit.

Im looking for a shop thats gonna stand behind there product and thats thereason im thinking of Dime City rather than the obvious MikeXS kits..

Yeah. TC bros has it out of stock aswell. although it is the same XScharge kit that DCC sells and they have it in stock. Paul what ignition did you end up going with? im thinking going with PAMCOpete but im not sure the compatability, i highly doubt it would be a huge deal tho.

I wish i can just go with Hugh's tho!:banghead:

Hi - Sods law!
I noticed that Lowbrow stock Hughs PMA - http://www.lowbrowcustoms.com/yamaha-xs650-complete-pma-high-output-charging-kit.html

I used the Boyer Bransden ignition system. Purely because ive used them a lot in the past and trust them, plus they are based in the UK, so no silly shipping costs. The next build I do, I am going to try a Pamco as Id like to run without a battery. Thats the only draw back with the Boyer - it needs a specific voltage before it will kick into life

I have been looking into a pma and a new ignition system. Should i get the combo on mikesxs if the pma kit is the same i can find elsewhere? Suggestions?

Correct Dirty Dog, MikesXS now owns xscharge. I emailed the original owner of xscharge a while back and he openly said he had sold the business to mikes.
