Bike is looking really clean!

Another question: did you use nutserts/rivnuts to secure your battery mount to the frame?

No I just drilled and tapped the frame tubes. They are pretty thin but there shouldn't be much force on them, just be mindful when tightening them up.

I never cared for those headlight brackets, but with your styling on that bike, it looks like the way it should be. Can't wait to see those colors all together, looks nice, nice choices on parts and colors.

Yea I agree. I've got some modifications yet to do on these ones before they're final.

Your angled tire treads remind me of wheel preps we'd do, long ago, prior to a race. Depending on track conditions, we'd mount the tires with the treads angled accordingly. I'm curious to know if those race preps are still done, or if the tires can only be mounted one way...?

I believe there are some people who do still do this. These tires however have directional arrows on them so I had them mounted according to those.

The addition of tank, brake linkage, signals and some other stuff today. Front fender will be coming back off and taken in to see if my painter can match the tank graphics and colors on it.

I really like what you've done with the front fender.
Functional minimalist.
Like a fork brace that also serves as a fender.
Instead of a fender trying to act as a fork brace...

It's looking nice, really sleek. But, sorry mate, them winkers have to go. Maybe some smoked onces would suit better. Or is it a law where you are?

Question, what did you replace the gauges with? I am wanting to go digital on my build and just curious to what people are having success with.

Hi Yoozy,
safety before elegance, eh? Them winkers are already only half the size of the stockers and going smoked instead of orange would be another step in an unsafe direction.
If I was to swap out my stock signals I'd want bloody great orange eyeballs off the back of an artic.
"I never seen his signal Yer'onner"
"Then you must be effin' blind, kiss your licence goodbye."

Yeah, fully understand what your saying. I've got some smoked ones on mine, about the size of a thumb nail and they are incredible. You wouldn't believe the light they give out.
Still looks smart no matter what
