Rockerbox Motofest® featuring AHRMA Vintage Racing
ROCKERBOX MOTOFEST® FEATURING AHRMA VINTAGE RACING @ Road America, Elkhart Lake, WI
6 or 7 XS650 were out racing HARD last year!
On track camping.
If you don't have a good time at this event, you are DEAD!

The 13th annual Rockerbox Motofest® is the premier Wisconsin motorcycle show and party featuring an eclectic mix of Euro, Japanese and American vintage café racers, choppers, sport bikes, racing machines, supermotos, scooters, and sidecars. All makes and models of bikes are welcome and you will find a mash of bikes competing for space alongside dealers and vendors of all things motorcycling. Rockerbox centers around a ride-in bike show and competition on Saturday with entrants from all over the country in competitive award classes showcasing the greatest in classic style, fresh customization and all that is unusual and incredible. Meanwhile, the grounds are packed with local and national vendors, live music, food, refreshments, a micro brew tasting, touring of the 4-mile road course, stunt shows, kart racing, and of course a slow speed evening sunset cruise of the road course. Friday, Saturday and Sunday the on-track activities feature vintage racing motorcycles from the 1920s to the early 70s and vintage superbikes from the 70s and 80s. The American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association (AHRMA) is dedicated to preserving the heritage of racing motorcycles and promotes this heritage through events at legendary race circuits. Road America is a track favorite of competitive vintage riders because of its four-mile layout including, high-speed straights, multiple turns and undulating terrain. Several passing areas contribute to the competitive spirit and racing action.

It's a little over a 100 miles for me, prolly will do a day run over and back, anyone camping?

I'll be making the annual pilgrimage and camping in the carrousel. My son is setting up camp on Friday but I'll be riding the 650 up there on Saturday morning.

No problem if you want a place to stay........AT LEAST STOP BY FOR A BEER.

Road America didn't issue campsite numbers for the vintage races this year...I just know its in the carrousel.

Kewl!! I'll most likely be on the 77 restomod, If I decide on a weekend stay, the dark blue van, what will you have along?

You say....a 77 restomod! I'll also be riding a 77 restomod! Whodafiggered.

Camp will be anchored by a really white Silverado and an aluminum flatbed that will carry a Honda Shadow or a really ugly KDX 175. If he brings the KDX you can find our campsite by following the blue smoke trail.

Then again......I'll know the campsite number on the Friday night before.
