How much play is there w the back of the clutch/flywheel. I'm wondering if I need to add another washer.... Po had it apart so I did not see it removed. Been guessing and using the manual to try to reassemble.

Let me know if this is normal play/slop. https://vimeo.com/166854566

That may be too much. It's probably best you tear it apart and check the spacer washer count and assembly sequence. There should be 4 spacer washers and a flat radial bearing. Two of the washers go behind the main hub, the other two and the bearing between the inner and outer hub. You may have the 1st two washers flip-flopped (small "red" washer goes on first) or omitted the "green" washer between the hubs .....

If the manual you used is an early one, it's easy to omit the "green" washer. There was a mistake in the drawing and it didn't show it.

I don't see a gear tooth alignment issue, just too much in-out movement on the clutch hub. And don't even get us started on pushrod activation/adjustment. Me and 2M would be here all night, lol.
